Basement Waterproofing
Basement areas are highly prone to water ingress due to their location below ground level.
Basement waterproofing involves a series of specialized treatments designed to prevent seepage
of groundwater through walls and floors.
This includes the application of membranes, chemical treatments, and drainage systems to
protect the structure against hydrostatic pressure. Proper basement waterproofing not only
prevents dampness and mould growth but also ensures the structural durability of the building
and creates a safe, dry, and usable space.
Crystallization Waterproofing
Crystallization waterproofing is an advanced technique that uses proprietary chemicals capable of
penetrating into the concrete’s capillary pores. When these chemicals come in contact with water
inside the concrete, they form insoluble crystalline structures that block the passage of water
while still allowing vapor to escape.
This method provides a self-sealing effect, which means that even future hairline cracks are sealed
when they come into contact with moisture. It is highly effective for water tanks, basements,
tunnels, and foundations where long-term waterproofing is essential.
Polymer/PU Coating
Polymer-based and Polyurethane (PU) coatings are among the most versatile and durable waterproofing
solutions available today. These coatings are applied as liquids and cure to form a seamless,
joint-free, flexible membrane that adheres to concrete, metal, or wood surfaces.
They provide excellent resistance to weathering, UV radiation, and chemical attack. PU coatings are
especially useful on roofs, terraces, podium slabs, and wet areas like bathrooms and kitchens, where
a robust and flexible barrier against water is critical.
Cementitious Waterproofing
Cementitious waterproofing systems are cement-based coatings mixed with proprietary additives
to enhance adhesion and flexibility. They are easy to apply, either by brush or spray, and are
widely used in water-retaining structures such as swimming pools, reservoirs, manholes, and internal wet areas.
Once cured, the coating forms a dense, water-resistant layer that protects the substrate from
water penetration while being safe for potable water contact.
Epoxy Waterproofing
Epoxy coatings are a type of reactive resin system that forms an extremely tough, chemical-resistant,
and impermeable barrier when applied to concrete or masonry surfaces.
Epoxy waterproofing is particularly suitable for areas exposed to continuous wear and chemical spillage,
such as industrial floors, basements, garages, and production facilities. Its high bond strength and
low permeability make it an excellent choice for heavy-duty waterproofing needs.
Elastomeric Waterproofing
Elastomeric coatings are flexible, rubber-like membranes that can stretch and recover without losing their
waterproofing properties. These coatings are specifically designed to accommodate structural movement
caused by thermal expansion, vibration, or minor settling.
They are ideal for exterior walls, facades, and roofs where long-term flexibility and weather resistance
are required. Elastomeric waterproofing also provides a seamless finish that prevents water penetration
even in harsh climatic conditions.
SBS/APP and PVC Membrane Treatment
SBS (Styrene-Butadiene-Styrene) and APP (Atactic Polypropylene) membranes, as well as PVC membranes,
are prefabricated sheet systems known for their exceptional performance. These membranes are either
torch-applied or cold-applied to form a robust, flexible, and UV-resistant waterproof layer.
They are extensively used on flat roofs, podiums, and terraces where long-term exposure to sunlight
and standing water is common. PVC membranes are also favoured in green roofs and areas requiring
superior chemical resistance.
Injection Grouting
Injection grouting is a precision technique where specially formulated grout materials (cement or PU based)
are injected into cracks, joints, or voids within concrete or masonry structures under controlled pressure.
This process seals active leaks, strengthens weakened areas, and restores structural integrity.
It is commonly used in basements, tunnels, dams, and retaining walls to address water seepage and
enhance the durability of existing structures without extensive demolition.
Expansion Joint Treatment
Expansion joints are critical components in large structures, allowing controlled movement due to
temperature variations, seismic activity, or settling. Expansion joint treatment involves cleaning,
sealing, and waterproofing these joints using high-grade sealants, compression seals, or membrane-based systems.
Proper treatment ensures that joints remain watertight while still allowing flexibility, thereby preventing
leaks and protecting the overall structural performance of bridges, buildings, and industrial facilities.
PU Foam Insulation
Polyurethane (PU) foam insulation is a high performance thermal insulation solution applied by spraying
directly onto surfaces. It expands to form a seamless, airtight layer that minimizes heat loss,
prevents condensation, and enhances energy efficiency.
Ideal for roofs, walls, and difficult to reach areas, PU foam insulation offers excellent adhesion,
durability, and long-term cost savings for both residential and commercial buildings.
